Christiana Care's Fire Protection department is currently looking for a Life Safety Officer for our Newark, DE location.
Job Requirements
B.S. in Fire Protection or Related Field. 5 years experience with fire protection and life safety programs. Experience applying the National Fire Codes, Joint Commission standards, OSHA standards, and state/local codes to daily operations and construction/renovation activities
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass OSHA required physical and fit test for respirator use. Must complete Confined Space Rescue, and Hazardous Materials Technician training within 12 months of hire. EMT-B certification preferred. NICET Level 2 Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology with ability to obtain Delaware certifications.
